This collection consists of photographs concerning the facilities, staff, collections, and activities of the Alabama Dept. of Archives and History. Most of the photgraphs are from 1940, when the World War Memorial Building was completed, to the present. One folder has photos of an ADAH exhibit at the State Fair in 1910.

Peter Alexander Brannon was born at Seale, Russell Co., Ala., 30 Aug. 1882. He was educated at the public school, Seale High School, and graduated in 1900 from the Alabama Polytechnic Institute, majoring in pharmaceutical chemistry.
